AWARENESS OF OWN PREJUDICES AND THE WILL TO LEARN
Einar Svansson and Sigrún Lilja Einarsdóttir, teachers of diversity in higher education management at Bifröst University, discuss their own experiences of becoming aware of their own privilege blindness and unconscious prejudices and how that experience can be shared with students.
Miriam Petra Ómarsdóttir Awad, accreditation officer at the Erasmus+ Country Office, explains the concept of inclusion and tells us what inclusion and diversity mean to her personally. Kristín Heba Gísladóttir, managing director of Vörða, puts the topic in context and tells us about the situation of people with a foreign background. Joanna Marcinkowska, accreditation project manager, leads the conversation and tells us about the project "Inclusion in the Icelandic University Community", which she leads.
